Aruba began dancing in 1996. Never dreaming that it would be more than a passing fancy, dance has become a great part of her life and heart. Performing, sharing and learning about her passion is artistic "soul food".
After recovering from a debilitating illness several years ago, she added "Ala Nar" to her name which meant to her that she was again "On-Fire" for dance and all of life's possibilities: such as sandal-making! She follows one of her favorite teachers' advice:
